N Scale Con-Cor Model Trains
Con-Cor is a small manufacturer of model scale trains based in US. But even with a small sized company, they are able to satisfy hobbyists from different parts of the country by providing high quality products with detailed finish. The company was established in 1962 – relatively older compared to large scale companies but they were able to survive with little changes in management and ownership. Although the company is based on US, they now import at least 90% of the parts of their model trains. Their US site is only for assembling, warehousing and distribution. The changes however, didn’t diminish the quality of their products as they continue to fulfill orders of different hobbyists around the country.
The N scale model of Con-Cor is one of their most popular scale models. It’s relatively affordable compared to their other model trains but still as efficient with remarkable detailed finish. Most of their model trains are now pre-assembled and ready to run as soon as they are taken out of the box. The most notable feature of their N scale model train is on its powerful tires. Coupled with DCC power, the tires have enough traction to pull more than 50 N scale freights.
